Alacranes Musical (English: "Musical Scorpions") is a Mexican-American band produced by Oscar Urbina that plays duranguense music. They are from the Aurora suburb of Chicago, Illinois The band has released several albums since its formation in November 1996, and in 2007 was nominated for a Latin Grammy for their album, Ahora Y Siempre.[citation needed] Their hits "Si Yo Fuera Tu Amor" and "Por Tu Amor" reached #2 and #4, respectively, on Billboard's Latin Regional Mexican Airplay chart.
